You don't protest for gay rights because you or a loved one is gay and you don't protest against discrimanatory things like www.Ihatemen.com becuase you're a guy but because it's the right thing to do. This page is for those with high morral values and wish to make this world a better place but needs others to stand with them. Forever awaiting another that shares their opinions.
War With Iraq
Overwhelmed in pride and glory one can never the negative side of every truth. Every action has a negative cosequence even if you origionally set out to do good. War isn't a pleasent thing no matter which way you look at it. I truely don't mind if one fights in order to defend his or her rights, beliefs, or loved ones. But when we kill them, destroy homes, bomb land, and neverless steal their museums, and still we say we are so called "saving them" and "freeing them." !?!?!?!?! We wouldn't even be there if the land isn't rich with oil! Mny have been lost in this meaningless war. Many once thought that Saddam was a madman who really did have weapos of mass destruction. But now almost 1 year later, where are the bombs? Where is the destruction, bombing and evil? The only evil I see is the horror that the families have to go through knowing that his or her childs' life was snuffed out by this meaningless war. They all died a hero, but they all died in vain.
Protest against the war with Iraq for we are no better than they are. If this continues, more lives will be lost.
Gay Rights
Though gays do make me vomit and puke to the pits of my stomach, one should have the right to love who the want. No law should prohibit gay marriages. In this "land of the free" we should be able to love who we wish and marry who we wish. Nauseating. Some say that if gay marriages were allowed, the species of our generation may suffer. However gays often adopt, giving an orphan a new chance on life. Are people so discriminitory as to even change the constitution in order to prohibit right? The constitution has always been a bill to give rigths, not take them away and hopefully will forever remain that way.
Protest against laws prohibiting gay marriage for we should be able to love who we want.
